In collaboration with the one and only Vanessa Porter I developed the composition “Überlauftulpe” (Bell-Mouth) for percussion and electronics. The starting material for the 4-channel-audio work was sound recordings from inside the waterworks. The composition plays with the contrasting qualities of water between threat and harmonic elixir of life.
The project was supported by the Innovation Fund Art – MWK Baden-Württemberg and with funds from the Bruno Frey Foundation, the Karin and Uwe Hollweg Foundation and the Josef Wund Foundation.
