I am a transmedia composer and curator. At the moment, I am working with Julika Bosch on an opera project for 2027 for Wuppertal’s most beautiful swimming pool, the Schwimmoper.
In recent years, I have composed for Chorwerk Ruhr, installations by Chiharu Shiota and percussionist Vanessa Porter. I have been a guest at institutions such as the Kunstsammlung NRW, the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg and the Beethovenfest Bonn. As a curator I have worked with and for artists such as Phillip Sollmann (Efdemin), Hanne Lippard and Jessica Ekomane.

The sound and video installation by Trio Wellenbad transformed the entrance facade of the Frankenbad Bonn into an audiovisual membrane between the swimming pool and outdoor space. Resonating glass panes and video projections connected the forecourt with the lobby. In the evening, the facade was transformed into a multimedia aquarium.
At the end of its »Aquarium« sound and video installation, Trio Wellenbad invited to enjoy entertaining musical performances in the swimming pool. Electronic and instrumental soundscapes could be heard live above and under water as the Frankenbad is transformed into a concert hall. The event concluded with a world premiere for live electronics and instrumental ensemble.
A project of Trio Wellenbad in collaboration with Beethovenfest Bonn and in cooperation with the Sports and Public Pools Office of the Federal City of Bonn.
