I am a transmedia composer and curator. At the moment, I am working with Julika Bosch on an opera project for 2027 for Wuppertal’s most beautiful swimming pool, the Schwimmoper.
In recent years, I have composed for Chorwerk Ruhr, installations by Chiharu Shiota and percussionist Vanessa Porter. I have been a guest at institutions such as the Kunstsammlung NRW, the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg and the Beethovenfest Bonn. As a curator I have worked with and for artists such as Phillip Sollmann (Efdemin), Hanne Lippard and Jessica Ekomane.

The installation „Aqua – music for a river“, created for the State Garden Show in Ellwangen, Baden-Württemberg, explores the River Jagst. The bridge in the Allmende becomes a resonant object and a place for auditory stillness. Through musical meditations and questions about the nature of water, the river is given a voice.
The sound installation subtly enriches a visit to the State Garden Show by focusing on water and life along and in harmony with the river, inviting visitors to experience sound art on the bridge.
In February 2021, the Innu Council of Ekuanitshit and the Minganie Regional Municipality in Québec, Canada, granted the Magpie River (Muteshekau-shipu) the status of a legal person. The rights read out are taken from the relevant resolution.
